The Room Guru is Irelands’ first online, interactive design service, connecting busy people with our design team at a time scheduled to suit you. We offer a range of consultation types and durations, specifically tailored to achieve your design goals.

It couldn’t be easier - simply let us know what you would like to achieve in your home, attaching photos, uploading plans, or maybe sharing a Pinterest or mood board ahead of your consultation. This gives us time to get designing for you, even before the consultation starts.

All you need to do is login online (we send you the link) at the scheduled time, and your interactive, two way consultation with The Room Guru is up and running. After your consultation we will send you a video of the full consultation, so you have something to refer to as you work towards that dream space.

Before your consultation begins you will need to provide The Room Guru with a brief description of what you need help with. The more The Room Guru knows before your consultation, the better design advice you will receive.

Things that really help us to help you include; plans (all plans must be to scale and in a PDF format please), room dimensions, and photos of the space you need design advice for.

You can also attach your Pinterest board, so The Room Guru has an idea of what style you like or what you would like to achieve.

When you login online to your interactive consultation, you’ll speak directly to one of our in-house, fully qualified and experienced Room Guru designers.

Just a laptop or computer with a webcam and microphone (we share screens, this is a fully immersive, two-way consultation), good internet connection and a quiet space to get started (this is very important and required).

The Room Guru can help you with spatial planning (that’s thinking smartly about the space you have) and layouts, electrical & lighting design, kitchen, living & bathroom unit design, colour consultation, finishes & soft furnishings, and general project design troubleshooting.

A lot of our clients are simply time poor, and while working hard to achieve their dreams, some often require design assistance for one specific issue, rather than the whole project. That’s where The Room Guru approach comes in, with an interactive session at a time that suits your diary, and for a cost that suits your budget.

That’s up to you. Once you have the space and time, a good internet connection and some peace and quiet – you’re ready.

Once your consultation is completed, you will receive a recording of the entire session, so you can look back on any advice/direction The Room Guru provided during the consultation.

Yes, we can offer additional design service and detailing following the consultation. Once the clients outline what they want we issue them costing directly. If they are happy to proceed we can then schedule into our work program .

Of course! Most of our clients come to us as repeat clients or through referrals.

We have tailored the timeframe for consultation options to suit specific issues and topics. This is based on our experience and what we want you to achieve and experience from each option. Simply select the package that best reflects your design goals and expectations.

The Room Guru is available worldwide. All our consultations are conducted through the English language, so your level of spoken English needs to be at a good level of comprehension and fluency.

The Room Guru offers complete interiors for all residential homes, be it compact or expansive, apartments or individual homes. We also offer design advice for small commercial projects.

We match your unique needs and preferences to a suitable Room Guru designer in our handpicked team. We understand choosing a designer requires a lot of research, assessment, and vetting. We do all of that for you, so you can just relax and focus on getting your dream home designed.

Once you have filled in and submitted the form, you will receive a confirmation email. The email will confirm your consultation time, what you have chosen to discuss, and will provide a link to follow and begin your consultation. The Room Guru provides a design consultation that works for you.

Up to 48 hours before your scheduled consultation, you can change the date/time of your booking via email info@theroomguru.com, subject to terms and conditions. Within the same notice period you can also cancel your consultation. We have a no refund policy for notice of less than 48 hours.
